Team & roles
Everyone in a workspace has a role, and the role decides what they can change. Team management lives under Settings → Team.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including deleting the workspace. The workspace creator holds this role, and it can't be changed or removed from the team page. |
| Admin | Manage connections, agents, bots, and teammates — invite, change roles, remove members — and read the audit log. |
| Builder | Create, edit, and delete agents, and manage bots. Cannot manage connections or the team. |
| Member | View agents, and create and manage bots bound to existing agents. Connection, agent, and team management controls are hidden, and the API refuses those mutations from members. |
Roles are per workspace: the same account can be an owner in one workspace and a member in another. Settings → General shows your role in the active workspace. This is separate from the instance-wide platform admin flag.
Invite a teammate
Open Team settings
Settings → Team, down to Invite a teammate. Owners and admins only.
Enter email and role
They join with the role you pick — member, builder, or admin — and you can change it later.
Send the invitation
With email configured on the instance, the accept link arrives by email. Without it, the page shows a copyable accept link — send it to them yourself.
What the invitee sees — sign in or create an account, review, accept — is covered in Getting started.
Pending invitations
Outstanding invitations are listed under the invite form with their email, role, invited date, and expiry date — visible to owners and admins. Cancel withdraws one; the accept link stops working.
Change roles, remove members
Each member row (except yours and the owner's) has two actions:
- Change role — set them to admin, builder, or member after a confirmation.
- Remove — takes them out of the workspace after a confirmation. They lose access to its connections and bots; their account itself is untouched.
Role changes and removals are written to the audit log — with one attribution caveat noted there.
Multiple workspaces
One account can belong to many workspaces. Being invited into a workspace adds it to your switcher — the dashboard's Active organization card lists yours and marks the active one. Agency accounts — enabled by an administrator — can also create additional workspaces.
Connections, agents, bots, the team list, and the audit log are all scoped to the active workspace — switching workspaces swaps all of it at once.
